I'm starting to hear cicadas, and it feels like summer has arrived.
It's hard to go out when it's too hot, but I had some連休 and took a stroll around Yokohama for the first time in a while.
First, I went to a hamburger shop I always find myself visiting.
The style is to roll the patty into a ball, place it on a hot griddle, and then press it down with a specialized smasher to grill it.
It's very juicy and addictive.
Recently, I've been eating only salads with perilla oil for health reasons, but sometimes I crave something a bit more savory.
After that, I went to Chinatown and Yamashita Park.
Chinatown was very crowded, and all the shops were full, so I left quickly.
Yamashita Park, another popular tourist spot, was quieter than usual, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time.
When it's this hot, it's more comfortable to stay indoors, isn't it?
Even on such a day, or rather, especially on such a day, there was something I wanted to try.
Could the BANANATIME easy pants, which we carry in our store,
really make for a comfortable walk even in the scorching heat?
My impression after wearing them was that the unique silky texture, which doesn't cling to the skin, was very comfortable.
Especially near the coast, there was a breeze, and the silk fabric repeatedly touched and separated from my skin,

Also, the fact that they were much lighter than cotton pants made them feel easier to walk in.

In the evening in Yokohama, I went to an izakaya I occasionally visit.
I don't usually drink much alcohol, but beer on a hot day after a lot of walking tastes exceptionally good, just as you'd imagine.
The quiet atmosphere suits me well, and I tend to stay longer than planned.
I remember the oden was delicious in winter too…
I'd like to go again.
