Single Monkstrap Shoes by SANDERS Snuff Suede

A collaboration between KENNETH FIELD, conceptualized as "For NEW TRADITIONALIST," and SANDERS, a long-established British shoemaker founded in 1873.
This is the second installment of a single-strap shoe created with the theme of "a dressy look with a casual touch."

The reliable wax suede, suitable for rainy weather, is a taupe color that blends gray and brown. The split welt (storm welt), which prevents water intrusion, has a distinctive three-dimensional edge and a color scheme that matches the upper. The sole is a lightweight and shock-absorbing Vibram Vi-Lite sole. Despite the volume of the edge, it is very light to wear. The buckle is a subdued gunmetal color that matches the tone of the upper. Each detail is meaningfully and beautifully put together, and we look forward to the atmospheric aging that will occur after tough wear. The charm of dress shoes lies in their elegant and "proper" appearance. The real joy of casual shoes, I believe, is their ease of daily use and the "enjoyment of how their texture changes over time."
