Omatsu's companion

Hello everyone who uses SEEK&FIND.

I'm Matsuo, and I've transferred from the STEPS Jiyugaoka store. (My nickname is Omatsu.)

I look forward to working with you.

It's been about half a month since I started in a new environment.

I'm still feeling a mix of excitement, anticipation, and nervousness.

However, as someone who loves clothes, discovering new brands and items is a joyous occasion.

Just having something you love can ease your mind.

But I'm the type who struggles to find multiple things I love or can be passionate about...

Once I'm hooked on something, that's it! I'm an extreme person who wants to dig straight down without expanding sideways.

Despite that, I've recently found a new minor hobby outside of clothes for the first time in a while.

It's cycling.

When I buy something, I often do a lot of research beforehand, which surprisingly takes a lot of time.

I'll be on social media and the internet, thinking, "Oh, this is good too," or "Maybe this is the one," or "What would suit my style?"

Before I know it, I've taken 312 screenshots.

It's quite extreme, isn't it?

It felt like a waste to delete them, so I created an album. (Hopefully, it'll be useful for something in the future...)

In the end, I chose a classic, standard model.

Having this just makes me feel safe, which is the same feeling I get when buying clothes.

As you might imagine, riding it feels great.

Even if I get lost on the way to my destination, I don't mind at all.

I can discover new paths and shops, so I don't feel like I'm wasting time.

Passing through the gravel paths and parks I used to go through as a child on my way to play baseball brings back nostalgic memories.

Now that I'm an adult, or rather, especially because I'm an adult now,

I realized that parks are rich in nature and great for a run.

Komazawa Olympic Park, which I visited around autumn last year.

I remember it being a bit cool and pleasant, just after the rain stopped.

The autumn leaves were beautiful as the sun was setting.

Recently, I went to Ueno Park to see the cherry blossoms.

Despite it being a weekday, it was bustling with many people.

I had the impression that there were particularly many tourists from overseas.

It's somehow heartwarming to see people from other countries touched by Japan's four seasons and taking pictures.

Going out on my bike led to an unexpected refreshing experience.

To refresh myself even more, as a clothes shop staff, I want to pay attention to my attire as well.

About a week after Omatsu's shopping spree in the recent TOPICS, I went on another shopping trip.

Imagining riding a bicycle while gazing at cherry blossoms on a pleasant spring day, there's no other choice but Tilak, which we carry!

When I actually used it, despite being a thin fabric, thanks to the silicone coating on the inside, I could really feel its excellent windproofing.

It's fantastic, especially when facing headwinds.

Because it's water-repellent, I don't have to worry about a little rain while riding.

It has become a special item for me that can be useful for travel and outdoor activities.

And of course, it's also great for fashion!

I really want all of you to experience this item.

That's all for this time.

Once again, I look forward to working with you.
