Daily Dose of Clothes / How to keep loving your clothes for a long time.

Since the beginning of this year, I've been writing something like a blog on note about twice a month.

My post two days ago was about BANANATIME. This blog post will be an extension of that.

I've been wearing BANANATIME for seven years now.

As I wrote in my previous note, it's still a brand I love.

Come to think of it, I have many such clothes and brands.

Since I've grown to like something so much,

I always hope to "keep liking it for a long time."

But strangely enough, no matter how much I love a piece of clothing, if I keep wearing it the same way, it gradually loses its freshness.

So, I try to find new combinations by wearing the clothes I own according to my mood at the time, or by incorporating a little trend.

While buying new clothes is fun, I enjoy adding new charm to my old favorite clothes.

In fact, even when I buy new clothes, I often consider how they will update my existing favorites.

In this way, the newly acquired clothes eventually become irreplaceable, and at some point, I update them again.

It seems like a cycle.

I'm also enjoying changing up my BANANATIME styling at my own pace, so I'd like to introduce some of those styling processes.

First, my personal standard style, which serves as a base.

A jacket, cut-and-sew, and delicate leather shoes. I keep the number of colors down to highlight the pattern.

In autumn, I often pair it with black outerwear and suede shoes.

The cut-and-sew I pair it with is usually Takes. The clean neckline suits it well.

Next up is the 25SS, last year's styling.

It was too hot, so I was exploring combinations with hats. Should I tuck in the shirt or not?

I also tried short sleeves x shorts, and pattern x pattern,

I tried changing the innerwear from Takes. to a tank top,

and pairing it with a vintage print T-shirt.

And now, this year's 26SS styling.

Introducing VANS AUTHENTIC.

Continuing with hats. With a more casual mood than last year.

Also trying to balance the clean tapered silhouette with a relaxed, ample top.

A vintage college tee with Vans on my feet. As a beginner in American casual style, this is a challenge I must undertake.

In this way, I make small changes or twists to my usual outfits, using them as a base.

There are many successes and failures along the way.

But I don't worry too much about it. (Though it's better to succeed.)

If I feel like I've made a mistake, I can just go back to my usual way of dressing. Lol

I like the feeling of my favorite clothes gradually becoming "mine" as I repeatedly make small adjustments to keep them interesting.

I believe that this comfort is also one of the joys of fashion.

That's all for today.

Have a nice Weekend~!!!
